The following Terms and Conditions outline our commitments regarding Your personal data that We collect in connection with our activity of promotion and sale of derivative products.

Please read before making an online purchase at our shop.

These Terms and Conditions and all disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or with the use of the website or with any purchase on the website shall be governed by U.S. law.

MuseumViews may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment. You are asked to accept only the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase with each of your orders.

MuseumViews shop reserves the right to cancel, hold on to, or further investigate an order at suspicion, even if delivery time is affected. No other payment options in addition to those displayed at checkout is accepted.

MuseumViews holds the right to have minor deviations related to how material, color, weight, measurements, or manufacturing, appear on our online shop. This also includes type faults, price and stock changes. See our Return & Exchange Policy.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information relating to an identifiable natural person directly or indirectly.

In the course of our activities, we may collect the following personal data: Surname, first name, civility, date of birth, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number (mobile or landline), username and password encrypted used to identify you and allow you to access your account or personal space, order data (order number and order history), encrypted information about your means of payment (eg credit card numbers, data of connection and navigation data.

The legal basis for this collection is the terms and conditions of the purchase. These data except payment details are shared with our warehouse and logistics partners in order to fulfill the order. We also save your order history to handle returns and complaints.

You provide us voluntarily to benefit from a service

This is particularly the case when you create a customer account, You make an online order, You subscribe to MuseumViews (online or in Shop), You subscribe to our newsletter (coming soon), You wish to be informed of the availability of an article, You contact our customer service or You participate in a contest (coming soon).

Some information is essential to benefit from the service concerned (indicated by an asterisk). If We do not communicate them, We will not be able to make You benefit from this service.

Our products and services are exclusively for adults who are able to subscribe to contractual obligations.

Attention – When You give us the data of a third party in order to make it benefit from a service (eg gift option during an online purchase), You must Make sure that the person concerned agrees that his personal data (name , first name and postal address) are communicated to us.

We collect on the occasion of our relationship with You

We are thus brought to send you: the museum shop newsletter and information in case of abandoned shopping cart.

To ensure that the registration has been completed by the holder of the e-mail address, we have, resort to the procedure of the “double opt-in” which consists of sending you an e-mail confirming your registration to the newsletter. Only if you confirm with us will you receive our Newsletter (coming soon).

We measure the opening rate of our Newsletter and limit our mailings according to your general profile (age and place of residence) in order to adapt them to your needs.

Your personal data are intended only for MuseumViews and are accessible only by our employees authorized to manage them, according to the purposes of the collection (commercial, administrative services, services in charge of the control, marketing services).

At the end of this period, your personal data are anonymised or deleted.

These data are kept in current archive for 3 years from the subscription to the newsletter or the last contact of your part. After this period, we delete them unless you have clearly and expressly wished to re-register.

FORCE MAJEURE

In case of war, civil war, revolution, riot, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster, measures by public authority or similar circumstances MuseumViews will apply to force majeure. This means that these terms & conditions can not or only partly be performed. If this occurs, MuseumViews will try to inform you about this.

A cookie is a text file that is stored in your browser, giving us information about what parts of our page you visited, and if you added something to your shopping cart. We do not use third party cookies.

When shopping at MuseumViews Online Shop (from here on “MuseumViews”), we will ask you to provide personal information necessary to fulfill your online order, which may include your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, and credit card number. When ordering online, we also require your email address so that you can receive order, shipping, and other transaction-related emails, and so that we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order or request.
